A complete renovation of a family bathroom in an Edwardian terrace gives the family a modern, bright space. A dramatic dark grey wall colour, contrasted with white metro tiles, mustard yellow blinds and some greenery make the room feel contemporary yet classic.
A niche created in the shower area provides storage for toiletries, and the clever lighting inside it gives the space a soft glow in the evenings.
A wall hung loo and a concealed cistern give the illusion of more space.
The brief called for double sinks, an open shower area and a large, comfortable bath to relax in. A flexible lighting design on separate circuits and with dimmer switches gives bright task lighting when needed, and more subdued light to help unwind after a long day.
